The merkin is damaging our brand with his comments, and shutting him up would be worth the cost.

Sponsors don't mind where you finish on the table, but constant negative media will put them off.

I took your comment to be about the media as a whole.

Hadleys rant seems over the top and stunts like telling fans to take jersies off is unjustified.

But acting like sooks and threatening some vague legal action is a very crap reaction and just adds fuel. So our club comes across as weak and incompetent.

He is a shock jock / professional troll. Even if he didn't believe the things he said he would still say them to fire people up.
