Where does he claim that, there have been multiple occasions I have seen Ray claim neutrality.

Him and his wife Susan were members of the football club for many years. He may also have been a member at penrith too.

As much as Hadley is a merkin and if he told some young woman in the audience to take off her jersey that's a complete dog act and offensive to her, on what grounds do the board have to take legal action in regards to anything else he said? It's his opinion and as overboard as it is he has a right to express it and unless he's come out with blatant lies, and from all reports he hasn't claimed anything, then I don't see what grounds they have for legal action. The club should just suck it up.

The comments are scathing and mallicious and their coming from a bloke who's employed by both the official FTA broadcaster of the NRL, therefore they have a right to protect their brand, especially when we're vying for the membership and sponsorship doller against our opposition, putting the form on the field aside for a moment, we've done nothing wrong off the field to cop this treatment. If the NRL are happy to protect referees from clubs than the clubs themselves should be protected from high influential figures in the game from imbalanced and agenda driven views.

It is too bad Hadley doesn't apply the same professionalism (??) to his other radio work. On one hand a Tory lackey who promotes hate, on the other and independent sports broadcaster without bias or favouritism.

I recall that and I think Ray Warren would be in the same boat. Terry Kennedy has repeatedly denied being a Broncos fan and claims neutrality. Bit harder for the ex-player commentators to claim the same.

Why wouldn't it mate? I made a habit of defending our former CEO from his mate and other people in the media, imo he was treated really harshly by the media and I even confronted josh massoud about it during the 09 elections.

p.s. im no lawyer but you'd think the woman involved would stand a better chance of taking him on in court; publically humiliated on national television, pain and suffering, etc etc get law partners to take it on at the worst its some publicity for them

I listened to the segment and you are right Mark he didn't say we should be kicked out of the game he said " Parramatta is a Basket case, an absolute basket case, they are a disgrace to the game" so I admit I was wrong when I initially took that as him saying Parramatta shouldn't be in the game at all.
That wasn't my main issue anyway. My main issue was him telling a fan "No they are, mate you've got a Parramatta Jumper on you should be changing it tomorrow" and IMO he owes that fan an apology.
Of course we know Ray won't apologise to our fans and I don't think taking him through the courts is the right way to get him to admit he was out of line. He either has the decency to retract his comments or he doesn't and we all know he doesn't.
