Where does he claim that, there have been multiple occasions I have seen Ray claim neutrality.
Him and his wife Susan were members of the football club for many years. He may also have been a member at penrith too.

As much as Hadley is a merkin and if he told some young woman in the audience to take off her jersey that's a complete dog act and offensive to her, on what grounds do the board have to take legal action in regards to anything else he said? It's his opinion and as overboard as it is he has a right to express it and unless he's come out with blatant lies, and from all reports he hasn't claimed anything, then I don't see what grounds they have for legal action. The club should just suck it up.

Yes, remember the controversy that caused, because Fitzy was buying him a membership?
Ray did grow up in Western Sydney and has claimed to be an Eels fan then, but has long held that during his first years of calling the game, he was taken aside and told that his commentary was biased. Indeed he was told everyones was but his even more so. After being told that Ray wondered if you could have an unbiased commentator and has claimed that he cut all ties with all clubs.

Those are the claims, if they are correct is another matter.
I think he now only says that his daughter is a parra fan.Yes, remember the controversy that caused, because Fitzy was buying him a membership?

does this apply to all officials from clubs (past & present) or just the ones you like? The comments are scathing and mallicious and their coming from a bloke who's employed by both the official FTA broadcaster of the NRL, therefore they have a right to protect their brand, especially when we're vying for the membership and sponsorship doller against our opposition, putting the form on the field aside for a moment, we've done nothing wrong off the field to cop this treatment. If the NRL are happy to protect referees from clubs than the clubs themselves should be protected from high influential figures in the game from imbalanced and agenda driven views.
It might have been the bit where he said it.
Not sure. I could be wrong
As Bigfella has noted he did say we should be kicked out of the comp.
So, again I ask, where did he say we should be kicked out of the comp. I don't doubt he said we were a disgrace to the league, but I can't see where he said we should be kicked out of the comp. Did he say it on 2GB or somewhere else in the show, I don't watch the show and haven't for 2 or 3 years now.The Footy Show Video linked above said:From Timestamp 8:08
Slater : Now Ray Hadley what we are going to do at the end of every 5 in the bin it's called "Ray's Rant" and its something that gets under your skin
Hadley : humm
Slater : So get something
Hadley : it’s a couple of things, it’s a couple of things.
Slater : get it of your chest then
Hadley : Well Parramatta, lets deal with them.
Time Stamp 8:19
Hadley : Lets Deal with Parramatta, Ray Price retired in 1986 and has been agitating for the last almost 30 years to get rid of Denis Ftizgerald, he got rid of him. So now we've got coach who retired I think Darryl what, Chris Anderson 2007? and Brad Fittler replaced him? about then 2007
Brohman : Ask Freddy he would know better than me.
Hadley : 2006, 2007?
Fittler : Yeah I got him sacked in 2007. <Shakes Head>
Timestamp 8:41
Hadley : 2007, He is there for 8 games, he hasn't coached since then so he is now the assistant coach or the coaching director.
Hadley : Ray Price was one of the greatest players I've called he was a great rugby league player, but in terms of communication with young people, his got absolutely no idea. and so they make him, the mentor for the young team while he is still residing on the Gold Coast.
Timestamp 9:00
Hadley : Parramatta is a Basket case, and absolute basket case, they are a disgrace to the game, and the way that they have handled Kearney in recent
Crowd : <Mix of Boo and Ohhh>
Hadley : No they are, mate you've got a Parramatta Jumper on you should be changing it tomorrow.
Crowd : <Laugh and Applause>
Hadley : But now the other thing, Mind you, you’re a bit big, you make your own arrangements pal. But the other thing is Manly . . .
Time Stamp : 9:20
<Manly Issue for the next 50 seconds>
Time Stamp : 10:10
Hadley : Manly need a kick up the backside as well. That's the rant for today.
Slater : That's Ray' Rant
Crowd : <applause>
Slater : Not necessarily reflected.
Slater : The thoughts of Ray's rant may not necessarily be reflected by the footy show and hopefully we will have Ray's rant next week.
Hadley : and by the way, if anyone wants to come back from Parramatta I welcome the opportunity to debate . . .
Slater : that's right
Hadley : your useless performances over the last two years.
Slater : there it is the invitation, Parramatta fans come and talk to Ray next week.

Thanks MITS. Looks like Chinese whispers have blown this out of proportion.
Hadley's still a knob however.
#hesaknob
"pain and suffering" are just part of supporting parraits still a grub act telling a loyal supporter to take off their jersey im not sure thats firm grounds for the club to take legal action though
p.s. im no lawyer but you'd think the woman involved would stand a better chance of taking him on in court; publically humiliated on national television, pain and suffering, etc etc get law partners to take it on at the worst its some publicity for them
just some of the accusations that are let go here without sources seems to be one sided, and you are a mod who is in a position control it. I didn't particularly mean your personal comments. Why wouldn't it mate? I made a habit of defending our former CEO from his mate and other people in the media, imo he was treated really harshly by the media and I even confronted josh massoud about it during the 09 elections.
The Segment we are talking about is here.
