"We'll discuss whether there will be an extension at the end of the season.''

That could be an interesting conversation:
MH: So Dennis, I know we where lucky to avoid the spoon and all but we did pretty good last year. How about another 3 years?
DF: No
MH: 2 years?
DF: No
MH: 1?
DF: NO
MH 6 Months?
DF: NO!
MH: 6 Days?
DF: NO!! not even 6 hours, or 6 minutes. Just NO!
DF: On the bright side though you can stay on next year. Now go win us that spoon or something.

"We won the SG Ball Cup this season, we won the Premier League three years in a row, we've traditionally had the strongest juniors and have won more club championships than anyone else in the last 30 years.''

and where are all these players now ?

so is our aim to be the best junior club, or best senior club ?

i think a mor relevant question is - why hasn't that success in the lower grades transferred to the top level?"

i love that we get so many lower grade titles, club championships, etc but by logic if we have so much depth constantly coming through these lower grades at some point over the last, i dunno, 22 years, it should have led to at least one top grade title. by my count in the last decade we lost the plot on the way to three titles (99, 01, 05) when we looked the goods toward the end of september and choked on one grand final appearance in 98.

with the amount of talent we have, and based on how we went in the finals last year we should be doing a lot better than what we are. the comment in the article about us having so many injuries is rubbish.

Agreed - Management (DF) and Hagan should be spitting chips that we are not in the Top 4 to 6 at the very least. Compared to many clubs that are above us we have had few injuries, yet we lay 13th. I cannot believe the "she'll be right" attitude of these 2 d*ckheads (Hages & Fitzy).

f**k me! I just fell off my chair, Is this guy serious??? If Hagan gets a Contract extension i will give away watching league as i couldn't follow another NRL team,
Tell me something.....If Manchester United ran 8th one year and Sir Alex Ferguson made excuses like Hagan did the fans would rip him up and he would be sacked, How with the talent we have and the good run with Injuries we are only running 13th??? Its f**king coaches fault, 100%, Its his job to run the f**king team!!

Yeah Fitzy we have heard that song for 22 years now and it still hasn't won us the 1st Grade Grand Final, f**king Idiot, I mean it took him from 1990 till 1996 to open up the checkbook and buy some players during the SL War, Fitzgerald is a f**king cancer on this club and we will never win a comp with him in charge of the club.
