Thanks Mr. Farenheit!

Yeh the only issue i have is we clearly have one starting prop (and captain) in Asotasi but besides Nathan Cayless there arent too many other Kiwi props starting in the NRL. I know Frank Puletua is playing well but he is fairly small and probably not up to test standard. Guess we could start Tony Puletua at 10....... or obviously looking to ESL........hmmm

lol.

Murph... Blair is injured IIRC, but a good prospect indeed... but there is this bloke running around in the ESL, he plays for the saints and his name escapes me at the moment... but WOW can this guy play. (can anyone help me out here, hes a bench specialist). But Rapira can start at club level, but off the bench in tests IMO if he gets picked.

Maurie Fa'asavalu (spelling?).

there are PLENTY running around in the ESL, and with the Standard of that comp rising by the year and the NRL's decreasing... if the selectors opened their eyes, they might be sitting on a goldmine.

And I'm almost certain that Blair isn't injured. He was playing QLD Cup the week before last (Norths had the bye last this week just gone). I was aghast as I rate the guy.

hes the one. f**k can he play, wow. some of the stuff he does is Amazing... he is Samoan, but i dunno he might be eligible for NZ?

I'm not sure, one of our Islander friends might have a clue based on the spelling?

The best NZ team made up of ESL players would beat the NRL one. Harrison Hansen is another prospect that has never played over here.

I've played 12 NRL games, thank you very much. My name is Paul Staladi, and I'm 10x the winger Vatuvei is.

Paul Staladi...FMD...thats a blast from the recent past.

Thats a pretty big call - i agree it would be close but id put my money on the NRL boys. Either way i guess the point is theres a lot of talent up north

The thing with the ESL team though is that if they had Stacey Jones that would make a big difference but he shouldnt be in this 'hypothetical' team as he is retired from test footy. Thomas Leuluai would be the 7, not quite the same as the 'lil general'

even without jones, ESL will take it imo. because theyve got em covered in the pack and some of the backs are going great guns.

Yeh - Henry Paul is overrated, Lolesi is not a test quality centre, Vainikolo is extremely overrated - good looking side on paper but id take the NRL boys. Fa'afili is all class though he was my favourite player 2001-2004

It's still beyond me how people think Vatuvai is a talent. He's big... that's as far as his talents go. I'd have Reece Simmonds over him anyday... & I ain't being sarcastic.

hes not that bad - he got International Rookie of the year in 2005

On a good day he can be a real asset.

The thing with Manu is they kind of expect him to make an error or two a game but balance that out by creating a try or a few barnstorming runs etc. Its not like he plays like this every week.
