It seems to me that apart from the Fui monster, its all been one way trafikistica from eel farm to rabbitoh heaven.
Widders, Jeremy Smith ( my fave) and their coach spring to mind.
You can only imagine where JT would have got them this year but Fitzy, intent on rubbing salt into the festering wounds of Brian Smith, needed Hages. That was because his coaching was worse than Smith. A nice point to make to Smithy.
And the lesson from the eels is that if you going to get frothy at the mouth and turn yourselevs into evil incarnate, do it by sacrifcing your own... if you have to!
And as JT says, the eels appearances in 2 gfs in the lower grades and a reasonable finish in fg is in no small part due to Brian Smith who has been steadily building the ranks.
