Parra's fans

Where were they last night, nowhere to be seen.

There would have been no more than 50-100 of them in the ground.

Where are all these fickle fans who came out last year at the end of the year.
Haven't seen many Parra jerseys or car flags going around this year either.

I would have thought they'd have a few more fans than that show up last night.
Terrible effort.
Can't blame the weather either, it was a pretty nice day in Sydney yesterday.

If you don't get your tickets a month in advance the alternative seating which is usually behind the posts is awful.

Their army was so small. I was with the Saints army early in the game but then had to move, some "little" kids that werent even in gear came and all stood in front of me blowing smoke, i cant stand smoking so the only logical thing was to move. Saints area was so full, so me and my mate had no option but to move down to near where the Parra men were. They were so quiet, they only had two flags and about three banners. They didnt cheer or chant. I would say their "army" was only about 30 people. Compared to last years rd26 and the finals game when they had quite a turnout.

No excuse avenger - your fans turned up in numbers to two games last year (albeit in better form) and now you've lost a couple all of a sudden the away end of the hill is deserted?

Soft effort from Parra fans who were screaming down the joint to be let in last year, and now leave patches of green on one of the most famous hills in Rugby League.

Well done to the DA last night, from my vantage point near the tunnel you looked phenomenal and were in fine voice.

lolParra :)

watched it on the box last night from up the coast. The chanting and singing was very clear, congrats to all involved. You really pissed off Warren and Sterling. The commentary was very poor! Hey Sterlo, its not a penalty for deliberate forwardpass. its for the reciever being offside:sarcasm:

so it's poor form for Parra fans not to turn up but yet we shouldn't tard the bulldogs fans that are violent to other supporters and wreck trains, with the same brush???

you're a f**kwit...

You would have thought that some Parra fans would have turned up to make the crowd figure a little bigger.

We never play well at Kogarah either. Why go all that way to watch your team get flogged when you can stay home and just change the channel when it's over?

Live, free-to-air baby. It's a crowd killer.

The two matches at the back end of 2009 at Kogarah were both live on FTA, your fans and the media were screaming for the game to be moved to ANZ so you could go. Epic f**king lol that you can barely get more than a handful.

Your assumption, not mine. Kudos to those Eels fans who made the trek across town... but after last years carry-on, I would've thought Parra fans would be helping to FILL the ground. Dragons fans pulled their weight...

Cheers. Member of both clubs - wish we'd played at Kogarah this year!

I, for one made the trip out to kogarah and needless to say, i was fairly disappointed at the lack of parra fans who didnt show up. Being the Saints first Kogarah game this year, i expected alot of saints fans to show up, which they did, and boy were they loud! However, after last years semi, i expected more from parra fans. Was it because we lost to sharkies the week before? Is the bandwagon falling apart? who knows but lets hope parra get a full house next week to give the cheats hell!

My exact point mate, that's bandwagon stuff.

Parra, or surrounds, to Kogarah is hardly a long distance to travel.

Credit to you for at least admitting you preferred to stay home and not make up some other excuse.

Full credit to you, you are obviously one of the true Parra diehard fans.

It's a shame that more Parra fans didn't turn up last night.

As Timmah has pointed out, the Dogs and Saints at Kogarah is normally electric, last year Saints / Parra was the exact same twice.

If the blue and gold army was going to show up in big numbers (hypothetically) it would be in a GA area for numerous reasons - mainly because its fair on everyone.

The entire hill is a GA area. Basically, you could set up tent from behind the posts, 10m line, 20m line, 30m line, 40m line.. you get what im saying.

If you want to sit in a grandstand, thats totally different, but youre on your own

Yeah I was shocked at the lack of opposition support in the away part of the hill. Really didn't look more then 20 to me but it was hard to tell with some people wearing black jackets tbf
