Rothfields comment under the one Gronk posted again reinforced Kearney is gone and indicated that ricky will have a much bigger junior nursery out at Parra than he did at the sharks and roosters

I think Parramatta will stick solid with Steve Kearney. They have slowly got rid of the deadwood including old coaches like matt Cameron. If Ricky does get the job what changes do you think he will make at the Eels? Kearney seems to be doing a good job with the strong Parramatta junior base - how did Ricky treat the juniors back at Cronulla?

Kearney won’t survive. Trust me. Ricky will have a much bigger junior nursery than he had a Cronulla or the Roosters for that matter

I asked Buzz Lightyear a follow-up to Gronk's question, he hasn't answered it so obviously he doesn't know.

im starting to think we could do worse than ricky stuart as coach this team needs a fiery coach who isnt afraid to kick them all up the arse when they need it and who can strip the paint off the walls in a half time spray when they go into the sheds down by 20

when we get a soft try scored against us and they pan the camera up to the coaches box i dont want to see our coach rolling his eyes or shaking his head i want to see stuff getting chucked around up there

Given Slothfield's track record it probably means SK will have his contract extended tomorrow

Every player at the Sharks loved him I heard from a source just he couldn't get on with management. My only query on him is some of the questionable recruitment decision he made at the Sharks.

Stuart's hands could have been tied to a certain extent. We kept hearing all the time of their financial situation and they weren't even spending the whole cap, and players were afraid of going there in case the club went bust and contracts wouldn't be honoured etc.

Signing Tupou to a $400k deal and releasing De Goiss for Hughes weren't the smartest idea and letting Kimmorley go.

I'll support him if he is the coach just have some reservations.
