Therein lies the problem

Exactly.....we have a lynching mob running around with pitch forks calling for the coaches head. All well and good but who do you replace him with!!! There are no outstanding candidates at the moment.

This is the point I have been trying to make with some of those who are happy to settle for an average coach or one that comes with baggage. There would be a stack of coaches with better records than Kearney but none of them are anything but average or they would already have a job.

SIgn Craig Bellamy now for 2014. WE would have half the comp wanting to play for parra with him at the helm.

Why couldnt why have a ceo like the dogs dammit.

Otherwise taylor with a mentor would be ideal. He has links to our key players & gave them there start. I think he would be ideal

I could have sworn i saw Ricky coaching the blues over the last few weeks. Can someone confirm if he actually has the job?

Coaching state of origin for 3 games is nothing compared to club football. Ask craig bellamy what he thinks about that

Coaching the Blues is probably one of the hardest gigs going around. I'm sure Bellamy would agree. He couldn't get the job done. He has had it easy coaching an illegally assembled club side since 2006

And Mal Meninga too

I still go back to the first of origin series he coached. He had the option of kimmorley or johns. Even though johns had only been back for a few weeks from injury he went with kimmorley & openly stated he was his half back for the series & not johns. Yet kimmorley stuffed up for going for the win with that intercept & he dropped him & brought in johns who was his second choice. The rest as they say is history with johns being on fire the next 2 games & delivering the series.

He also lost the unlosable final in the world cup & carried on like a twat.

The further this guy is away from our club the better

ITs still not as hard as managing 30 players year in year out.

Ricky proved that when he had no onw helping him his teams were rudderless. Ask the sharks now what they think of him & how flanagan has turned that club around with the same resources ricky had.

I am not a fan of Stuart but maybe with Carney there he may have gone a little better, I know the sharks have won with out him but they have looked as bad as us in other games when carney wasn't playing.
