Duff was injured, so we could both be right on that Mighty, but westie is 100%.

I never said he wasn't and I agree with you both as I said before Greally isn't ready for NRL level yet as a Flegg FB he is miles above the rest and as a PL he would be in the top 5 easy but at NRL level - well his time will come I have no doubts about that but at the moment isn't the right time

I think I'd prefer Duff. I'm a Balmain fan but from what Ive seen of them both, he would be the better option atm

I`m a Wests man,but having seen them both play a few times,i`m positive Greally is a class player and a better option than Duffy!

I dont think theres an arguement for whose the more talented player.Greally will play first grade and has the class to go all the way.But at this stage Duffy would be the better option. Its only Simon's first season in PL and he's only 18 i think.Give him a year and i sure he'll appear at some stage.

Magpies won PL 30-26, details would be appreciated.......?

Richards apparently didn't see much game time, obviously feeling his way back.

Didn't go, got a report that it was the best game we've played all year (why the inconsistancy???) and Richards didn't play ;-)

Cool, thanx westie, that explains Don Moseley's "didnt see much game time" obviously he didnt see him out there and assumed he did little.

You can look @ this two ways. Either he still wasnt fit or, he is being rested for tomorrow! Anybody got the right answer?

i went to the parra game and came early to see richards play for wests but he didnt play at all.

A couple of things

1) Kerr was easily the best player there and too good for premier league
2) Fulton looks great at lock and will be a regular 1st grader.
3) Beautner didnt play at all which makes me think he is either injured or playing 1st grade with Wilson moving to lock to cover sattlers injury.

I was there as well.Thats a pretty good summary.Kerr is class,Fulton is sensational(why isn`t he in first grade?).I`m not a huge Covell fan,but he had a very good game.He was rock solid on his wing defusing many tight situations and he also ran the ball strongly.Another back rower who has 1st grade written all over him is Nigel Plum.He is a tall rangy type who is a handfull every time he runs the ball and he also stings in defence!!!

Liam played? Are you sure it was him? If Buettner didn't play who was at 5/8 for us?

As for westie's question 'why the inconsistency' I think a massive part of the answer is Keiran Kerr. I've said elsewhere that I think he's the best player to wear the 7 for the Magpies since JT. Having a real halfback is making all the difference. If Sheens continues to ignore him then we'll make the semis and give plenty of cheek and Keiran will be playing First Grade for one of the many clubs on the lookout for a playmaker in 2005.

If he does start picking him we'll miss out be miles but the Tigers will have a seriously good halves combo.

The only problem is that Prince want's to play half and that was one of the condition's he came to WT. And Kerr is to good an organiser to play pivot,so this may be a headache and then there is Benji.......oh sh!t I don't know! #-o
One get's the impression that the direction our future goes may depend on this major factor especially seeing that half combination's is what wins premiership's.Hopefully Tim will make the right decission. :| and we can mirraculously keep em' all. #-o
