Telegraph says severly dislocated right ankle - but the way they took him off holding his leg in the air it looked really serious.

Depending on the break it could be anywhere from 6 weeks to the rest of the season for him.

Yeah well...When Parramatta let him go i didn't think it was a great loss anyway.
I wonder how long Hodgson will stay on the field this year.

Richards was killing it before this, and looked like getting back to his 2001 form.

Very dissapointing indeed.

Poor Patty - I am a Parra fan....a few years back before his first BIG injury I honestly thought Patty would be a big time rep player - but unfortunately injury has, so far, robbed rugby league of a great talent.

I was disappointed that he left Parra, but also understood Parra let him go cos he seemed to be injured too often.

But I like Patty and was hoping he'd do well this season at the Tigers....this is very bad news indeed. :(

sounds like he's got a similar injury to Ashley Graham. He hurt his leg pretty badly in the second last round against the Broncs and is still out until the 4th week of the premiership. so that being the case you probably won't see Patty untiil about August at best.

goodluck to him! hope he bounces back.

Potentially he is a great winger, however his body continually gives up on him every time he starts moving in the top grade.

I've expressed this opinion before to tiger's posters who came to the Parra section and have been accused of sour grapes, unfortunately for you and him it wasn't.

He is young and well bounce back, but these things generally always take longer than anticipated and then there's the time to regain match fitness - so wouldn't be surprised if we don't see again this season.

Anyhow, speedy recovery Pat.
