IMHO both are idiots for engaging in a petty spat on twitter. But ffs Gallen proved his mettle last night as a mental softcock. When the Roosters nuffy got him, it was a great hit. Gallen got him back. Fair enough, thats what forwards do. But Gallen gave the young bloke a massive serve and carried on like a pork chop when he got his revenge. Then, his twitter response was as brainless and immature as Dugan.

If they didnt already know, the likes of Ennis, Burgess, JWH, Watmough and Smith would have seen that and quietly tucked it away for finals time. Gallen is a dickhead, and as much as we have sorely needed someone with his ability in the last 5 years, I'm glad we kept him away from us.

Two years ago it was the height of fashion on this forum to praise Paul Gallen. As if by osmosis everyone had forgotten what a turbulent character he had been.

How times have changed.

Those of us who always knew better chuckled through that period and us from north of the border have been bewildered by his elevation to god-status in NSW. How has his captaincy worked out for you by the way?
