Allow me beg your indulgence for just a moment apart from the last few weeks I had been travelling abroad all year and hadn't really kept up to date with everything in the NRL so please someone correct me if my information is incorrect.

Now straight off the bat I dismissed this rumour as complete BS I still think it won't happen but the only way it might be a possibility is for this reason.

Now it's no secret the man is an egomaniac of the highest order if I recall correctly he got a job on the sharks coaching staff after he retired now wasn't he laid off/stood down amongst the covid-19 pandemic? So my way of thinking is he might be so annoyed after all he has done for the sharks that this is his way of getting back at then for not keeping him on.

Again I think it's BS so I think I may have wasted everyone's time with this theory and in all probability incorrect information but hey I took a shot.
