One of the more exciting things about Vaughny is that his best is still ahead of him.

It's not just club level that he's shown this, he was dynamic in the All Stars game. He wasn't used that well (limited minutes), but when he was on the field he was the most effective forward on the park. Tackles busts like nobody's business, even made a barnstorming line-break. That was against the best players in the world too.

Ricky didn't miss out on him, he's fine but not missed

Really?.. Vaughan undoubtedly outperformed both Raiders props and probably most other props in the competition at this point and he has been starting from the bench for the first few matches.

Hawkins said; "...he's fine but not missed."

Glad to hear he's not missed, he's more then welcome at the dragons. He can stay as long as he wants. I know it's only early days but a front rower is running close to 200 metres and making close to 40 tackles will a game will do us just fine...

Agree.
More than happy to take his high quality workrate over Junior Paulo anytime.

In addition to being perhaps the only 'marquee' signing of the McGregor era to not become a worse player, in the last two weeks he has:

1. High-jumped over the worst drop-out ever because he was ambling about offside and Hunt is a clown
2. Ran across the field doing a Dr Spock sign because he had a dislocated finger, then dumped a rampaging player by his collar with his left hand only, before continuing on his way to get his finger put back in.

What a legend.

Hunt was under pressure to take the kick within the time limit. If he took the kick before Vaughan returnd behind the line, it is a penalty in front of th posts. If Hunt waited any longer, the stop clock horn goes off and a penalty in front of the posts.

The man is undoubtedly one of the Dragons best and also the most consistent forwards we have - has not let the team down , perhaps a bit of Jimmy Graham work ethic has rubbed off on him .

How the maestro’s brain washing technique has not affected him I will never know , the big man must be immuned to it - thank goodness for small mercies.
