Peachey's comeback! Or did he?

What did everyone think?

For mine I thought he was very casual, even more than usual.
Does he know it's First Grade pace out there?
Very poor kick returns.
Did he beat any tacklers?

We forced about 5 goal line drop outs and he couldn't spark anything.
I thought he was the try assist king?
Looks like we'll have to wait for the REAL playmaker to comeback to give the team direction.

I thought the go forward was fantastic from Stevens and Nutley.
The metres they made should have had him at his scheming best.
Or is he past all that?
No excuses.

I just watched the last 20 minutes in real time again.
It is obvious that every good game that peach has DS will be made look an even bigger idiot than he has already painted himself as.

I thought Peach did well, if it wasnt for him I reckon we wouldnt have even come as close as we did.

BTR compared to you I'm a genius!

So where was all the attacking brilliance you keep on raving on about?
We had Stevo and Nuts powering over the advantage line all night and he couldn't even set up one try all night!

Not even after 5 repeat sets from goal line drop outs and a tired Broncos team could he even break there defensive line.

I couldn't care less if he has a great game against a lesser team. How about turning it on against a top 4 team. Because if he can't do it against them in the finals we get bundled out of the semi's without a wimper AGAIN!

I still can't get over Tallis at the coin toss for Golden Point.
Peach was dead set laughing at him.

For the record, I think Peach played OK.
Not bad for a first game back after 6 weeks out.

DS, you obviously weren't watching the game from the southern hill. In the first twenty minutes Peachey's commitment in defence was outstanding, and without him there the two tries conceded could well have been four or five.

Pull your head in

Jimbo, I had a great view from the Peter Burns stand.
I saw Peachey knock on a ball he should of trapped with his foot.
That caused a scrum 20 metres out from our line.
So I'm glad his defence covered up his mistake.

Tell me Jimbo what did you think of Peachey's attacking skills?
How many tries did he set up?
How many tackle breaking runs did he do?
I thought having him back would give us some more variety in attack but we had 5 repeat sets, Nuts and Stevo busting the boilers and Peachey gave us a Pineapple!

Peachey played so well last night given it was his first game. He made some very important tackles. Great to have him back in the side!

Lockyer?

He made the opening bust in the first few minutes of the game that opened us up like a can of worms. If I went through the tape I bet I could find 5 times as many positives out of Lockyers game compared to Peacheys.

I can't think of any attacking brilliance from Peachey last night.
Can you?

Hold on, it's much easier to make a bust when you're playing in the halves and besides we didn't really call on Peachey for his 'offensive flair' as much as his defensive security...?
