Peachey's comeback! Or did he?

Peachey - best fullback at the club by a long way.
I was happy about the game against the Broncos considering where we are.
Only 12 points conceeded in the 80 mins - I do believe our defence is improving.
BK's return will make little to no difference in defence, but will improve our attacking options.
DS I was actually happy to see us get repeat sets, normally our we struggle to do that even.

For the record I thought Peach went ok.
I think re-signing him was a must.
After the game I tuned into Andrew Voss and Tommy Ridiculous and Tommy was giving Peach a bagging (someone else too who I forgot-maybe Stevo) and was full of praise for Nuts.

Given they scored in the first 10 minutes and then not again until the second 5 min we actually kept them scoreless for 80   (if only we could do this every week).

And DS - re: your stock analogy - why put all the eggs in one basket? - why not invest a bit in the blue chip and the new young telco - room for both

Indeed. Balance the portfolio through diversification.

Good call ;-)

This is the third time I have watched the game and Peachey did have a good game. I dunno how Nutley didn't get marched as Lozza just said.

Well confirm this for me this gents.

Late in the game we spread the ball to the right Vagana  Merritt. (the right winger) proceeds to catch the ball with right hand and promptly tucks it under the left arm and starts to stretch out. It all comes to nothing in the end - which is irrelevent - but someone please tell me why a guy who's natural reaction is to carry the ball like a left winger would, is played persistantly on the right?

I do not farrrgggin get it, seems to me a natural left winger is on the right and a natural right winger is on the left.

Somebody tell me, there must be something I am not seeing, cause this is really puzzling me.

Yes Angry.
Very astute.
As pointed out to my a very astute forum member, the centres are partnered with the wingers.
Merrit Vagana
Goldy & the least worst left.

But if Peach and Simmo were stocks on the stock market I'd be selling down my Peach holdings and buying up in Simmo stock.

They are completely different in their styles and comparing them is futile.

You should just say that you prefer a ball playing fullback. Something DS said a while ago comes to mind though.

With Dykes coming to play 5/8th, do we need a ball playing fullback or a running fullback.

I love the Peach, but it is a valid point.
