How fecked are the NRL and the Rorters!!!

Here you go Toddy $10k fine but go work for our mate Nick for a week and hey presto 10 large back in your Saturn Rocket!! The NRl are about as consistent as a Pakistani cricketer.

Let's compare to some other incidents:

1. Gallen, a fine for correctly calling someone a black merkin, $10k.
2. Gallen, for taking a little tinkle $10k ($5k suspended)
3. Dean Young, for correctly pointing out Mr Farahs ethnicity, zip, nada.
4. Mr Stewart, 4 weeks for going the grope whilst drunk as a skunk.
5. Brett Seymour for getting crap faced, goneski.

Feck if I was Mr Irvine I would be marching down to the NRL saying give us $10k back for Mr Gallen and while you are at it reinstate Mssrs Bird and Seymour to the sharks.

I just hope that Mr Carney gets his just desserts in front of the magistrate. Hope he gets that Pat O'Shane lez bag and she sends him to the big house. I wonder if when trial time comes around that we see Mr Carney represented by the finest silk in the land. Will this come out of the Roosters salary cap, or, will the QC mysteriously decide to do the case pro bono!!!

At the end of the day Mr Carney is a repeat offender and, he was after all. over the limit whilst behind the wheel and was therefore endangering the lives of others.

Feck I am pissed orf!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes Mate, I agree 100%.

Brett Seymour was the worst case in my opinion. The penalty he received for what he did was an abomination.

No sane person could possibly defend the inconsistencies of the NRL.

And yes, it was the club who gave Seymour the penalty, but that was only after intense pressure from the NRL.

Bird and Seymour were sacked by your club....

that said, the inconsistencies by the NRL are ridiculous.
Shillington drink drives twice and gets nothing, Jake Friend gets deregistered.
Gallen says racist comment, fine. Young says racist comment, nothing.
Multiple players charged with sexual assault allowed to keep playing, Brett Stewart gets 4 weeks 'for drunkeness at a club function'

If he was at the Raiders he'd be gone.

It always depends on who you are and what club you play for.

Thurston is a serial offender that gets off scot free but if he played for the sharks or knights or some other lesser team he'd be fined and the club would be lent on to show him the door (ala Brett Seymour, Dane Tilse, Todd Carney etc etc etc)

I've noticed nobody seems to concerned about Robert Lui being ok to play for tigers with no drama. Last time I looked he was up for multiple charges of assault on his missus. Reminds of another case a couple of years ago?

What the sharks need to do is take notice of the Roosters....and stop bending over and kissing the a$$ of Gallop & the NRL. Need to grow some balls & stand behind their players. Yes...in public tell them they are naughty boys, but behind closed doors have a laugh & snub their noses at those tools in the NRL who wouldnt know consistency if it got stuck in the eye of their dik.

I have offered my opinion on this in direct discussions with a prominent executive figure of our club.

The next time one of our players gets accussed of being intoxicated on a night out whilst off club duties and this is highlighted in the public domain for nothing more then sensationalism for the main stream media.

Our club should call a press conference and state, "We hope the bloke in question had a great night out with his mates, and for the record we hope that he kicked a goal or two in the process."

Bloody hullahbaaarrhh-loo about Todd Carney for farkkkks sake. He blew 0.052 or something at 6.30am.

Lets take him out the back and shoot him. Then lynch his carcass from a tree like some poor negro slave from years gone by.

The system stinks, but the biggest offence our club creates, is that they play their (the NRLs) stupid game. Just tell em we have a five point plan to cure this and farkkk off.

Only after offence number 34...gotta laugh at the Raiduhs fans getting on their high horse. The club that sacked another bloke just to protect Carney.

exactly....they're footballers, not role models to wowsers' children. Winning football games is more important.

Ken oath, if the NRL are not consitent we should learn from the best and focus on keeping the clubs interest at the forefront of our thinking and actions.

I agree. When a player of ours runs off course we go to the filing cabinet and bring out the Todd Carney blue print to get off with the NRL with a slap on the wrist. Not only that we state to the NRL that we are following the "Todd Carney" procedure. Then mention words like precendents, consistency and hypocrisy and that the papers are all after a story to make the NRL look stupid and we'd hate to oblige.

No mention of Jake Friend being stood down? I guess it wouldn't go well for your argument. Where is the mention of Thaiday and cutie being allowed to play while they were investigated?

It's not our fault your club is f**king stupid and sacks your best player we don't have to sack anyone just because some tosser at Cronulla did the same thing and your club has fallen apart to the sh*thouse ever since

What's obvious is our club has been soft c0cks and the NRL is gutless only exerting pressure on clubs with no influence.

1/ wasnt it your club who fined Gallen?who is that anything to do with the NRL.
2/ Have you thought that the club realised Buster was legless and saw this as an opportunity to punt him?
3/ Robbie Farah had left over kebab in his ears, Young called him a "dog"
4/ You have forgotten another Rooster crim Cherrington who bashed his mussus and was sentenced , under uncle Nick he continues to play while Greg Birds yankee lady accidentally tripped on a glass that the flat mate threw and he was kicked out of league.double standards?
