honestly no i don't think so. Ok he's the latest NSW half and a grand final half back as well but he has benefited from having a five eight next to him who can actually control the game. Which allows Pearce to put in minimal effort but when he does he c**ks it up. Terrible kicking game.

Lack of quality halfbacks help Pearce look better than what he is. Even players like Hodkinson and Robson have impressed me more then Pearce has

You're having a laugh, I haven't been given a reason to join the Pearce circle jerk but if you think Robson and Hodkinson have been more impressive this season you have no idea.

He's not s traditional style halfback but he's one if the most tenacious players out there, his short passing game is better than Reynold's and the only thing Hodkinson has on him is goal kicking. As for Robson, just lol, Robson is a decent first grader at best.

Jeff Robson is tenacious mate. His defence is great for a half and is such an under rated player. Its no coincidence that roosters have been successful with a decent 6 in 2019 with Carney and this year with Maloney. Those 2 steered the ship. Pearce is so over rated its not funny and its mostly rated by his fathers peers. He is a good club player I'll give him that but by far is he deserving of all the credit many are giving him this year. Maloney is the one who has sparked the team along with SBW

You know who was a great defender for a half back, Brett Finch, didn't make him any better of a halfback. Not saying Robson is a bad player, just saying that if you think he's played better than Pearce this season you're kidding yourself

Pearce might be a little overrated, plenty of good players are, but he's still in the top five in halfbacks in the game, he consistently performs for the roosters, there isn't a week where you wouldn't put him in our top five performers, and in a side full of quality that matters, Maloney has had many average games for us this season and it's taken him 26 rounds for his defence to be anything better than embarrassing.
