I have to give Pearson a huge wrap for his approach to our team.
On and off the field!!

He has never a noted match winner but you just have to love his way with the fellas!! On Sunday he was giving out compliment after compliment after every big play and our young troopers built on that and really went on with the job.

It is the little things like this from an experienced head that can change our season and I thought it should be duly noted!!

Good on you Corey, hope to see plenty more of it!!!

He got my vote when at the trial against the Warriors on the Gold Coast he took 3 rucks out of 5...the 6th obviously was a kick downtown and if he didn't have to play the ball he would have got the hoof to it as well!!!!

His reaction to Kylie's attempt at decapitating Vella was true blue and gold. I also think he will have an awesome combination with McKinnon. Look out for another Pearson to McKinnon offload on Saturday. It's a special.

And apparently he was a key figure in the beer and pizza night.

And no, I don't mean he ate them all - altho he must have had a little bit - he's got plenty of space to stash a few pizzas :D

Yeah I'm really happy to have Pearson back, especially since Cayless looks to be out for another couple of months.

He could be the hardheaded veteran leader that every team needs, someone with the experience to work with a lot of younger, inexperienced players to get the best out of them. Should play an important role until Cayless comes back.

I agree Twizzle, but he did contribute well off the bench like Stapleton did earlier in the season. For me the best forward in the blue and gold was Jack Afasamaga. His leg drive was powerful and his play the balls fast. He is a class player.

I was happy when Parra signed Pearson as HJ said he is the experienced hardhead Parra's pack needed.

Parra were chasing Corey since 2001 tho.

It's a shame O'Meley's already taken the nickname "Shrek"... I can see the resemblance with Pearson. Maybe "Uncle Fester" is more appropriate due to his age and mentoring?

Pearson is a must. Love him, I couldn't wait for his return to league after his injury. Good to see him back.

Like someone else said - his reaction to Kylie's attempt to behead Micky V was beautiful.

He shows such passion for our team. He's a great player. He's experienced. AND he's the nicest guy you've ever met.

I hope he stays around for another year or two - his influence on and off the field would benefit us enormously.

TOP STUFF COREY!!!

i thought Pearson was a wasted signing....i was wrong #-o

as mentioned it was good too see him sticking up for Vella after Leuluai's tackle, and his combination with McKinnon looks the goods

Yes, it's surprising, isn't it?

People thought McKinnon, Stapleton, Pearson, and even Langi would be wastes.

But they have all contributed wonderfully to this team.

Onya boys!!!

Pearson impressed me no end on Sunday. I take my hat off to him. We need him this year.
