Penalty for "going on with the tackle"

Did anyone hear Mander call "held" or "Tackle" or the number before the second go? I am asking about the penalty he gave to Newcastle just prior to their try that put them in front.

I have listened to it twice and missed it both times. Anyone who taped it, could you find out for me?

Thanks.

nope, not a whisper..

mander determined the result of that game. he gave a few iffy penalties against the knights and seemed to be trying to square up in the 2nd.
3 of the knights last tries were bullshit.
motu tony,s report is bullshit..
his 10 metres was bullshit
he was running around with a grin on his face most of the 2nd half because of the crap he was copping from the crowd.

that was the first round, i hope the refs are not going to determine the outcome of the games for the rest of he comp.

I take it you are talking about Toopi's tackle? I seriously doubt that if the knights player had passed the ball he would have been pulled up for it, he was still mving in my opinion. Crap call.

crap is polite. What Mander did was not call a tackleas having been completedbut act as if he had. That is worse than crap. That is cheating. It was the turning point of the whole game, gave momentum tothe team that Mander wanted to win and took it away from the Warriors.

Ozbash,

some of them would go alright in the top comp, i beleive, when it comes down to it though, they couldn't do worse than some of the clowns they have in Sydney, I did not see the NZ game in question, so I can't comment on the incident, but the Shayne Hayne effort on the weekend to call for the scrum after the siren had gone was trully pathetic.
