Im not going to hail the team, because the opposition were woeful.

But having said that:

- Blair played well
- Moltzon attacked the ball from the back
- Humble is getting better every week
- Cashmere survived his first game in the top grade without looking out of place
- We played a huge portion of the game without Farah
- Reddy played well to
- First ever shut out

So the combinations are coming together - look for a streak here.
It has been getting better every week and I'm starting to feel a little more positive after that. We should consolidate this week against the slime and move onward from here.

So glad Blake Austin tripped over himself. There was no way in hell Moltzen would have stopped him.

I wouldn't have cared if we beat the last placed sg ball team in golden point off a blatant forward pass after they had 11 players sent off

I just wanted the 2 points.

It was a good win albeit against a pretty piss poor opposition.

On the positive side:-

1. Woods
2. Ryan
3. Benji
4. Fulton
5. Galloway - he went forward better in my opinion than Woods and Woods was real good.
7. Moors makes us look a lot better.

These players though have consistently been good for us.

8. Reddy. His defence was really good.

Where improvement is needed:-

1. Speed out wide. This is why Moltzen needs to be in the team. We lack speed.
2. Lawrence is a gun but he is out of form.
3. I think we need a hooker substitute on the bench.
4. Blair still needs to improve a lot. I think he can fit into the team as a wide running backrower but I think Fulton is still the better player.

You aint wrong about Lawrence, he is getting worse rather than better. Bet we wont see him on the bench and Ayshford starting centre tho.

I have to feel sorry for Lawrence though, the genius is playing him out of position. Against Souths he played right centre and today he put him at 5/8 when Farah went off.

I don't get though why Sheens had him ball playing. Why not have him run the ball hard and straight.

When I saw him take a kick in our in-goal I thought he was going to explode. Why not play him at fullback over Moltzen.

Moltzen can play but why not leave him in the halves.

- Blair - better than he has played so, I was happy,
- Moltzen - not sure about that, how many times from kicks, did he just pass to Ryan ? he took a few bombs though,
- Humble - I agree, I think we need him.

1. Woods
2. Ryan

1. Woods - agree and he got the Ch 9 award.
2. Ryan - gee, he might be the better option at No 1.
3. Benji - seems to have learnt plenty from the Souths game and I hope that isn't a fractured check bone and just a black eye.
4. Fulton - would prefer the tackling Fulton and not the attacking one.
5. Galloway - yeah he went well but still too many runs from a standing start.
6. Reddy - has always been good defensively, I like him.
7. Moors - I think he has to be in the 17 going forward before Cashmere and Groat.

1. Speed out wide - surely we have speed at BRET or the U20's ?
2. Lawrence - I thought the last 2 games have been his best defense wise but with ball, he is not at his best.
3. Not sure as Humble did fill in at dummy half and was better than Fulton, we need a guy who can hold his own and play in the back roll as well at Farah is an 80 minute player.
4. Blair - better than he has played so, I was happy,

Couldn't have asked for much more given we lost Farah early.

The one thing I liked was that we tried to close down the game tactically instead of just try and score off every play. We kicked to the sidelines more than I have seen for a while.

Penrith were terrible but you can only play what's in front of you.

I was relieved when Fulton was replaced at dummy half. His service is absolutely woeful. Just leave him in the 2nd row where he performs consistently.

The win will do us the world of good. Reminds me a bit of that NQ game last season - at the back of a very bad run, sketchy performance, comfortable win against an understrength side. We then went on to win 9 straight....

Effort was there, though still a few too many missed tackles. Execution in attack was much better.
Back 3 were safe at the back, Moltzen much better. Tuqiri still doesn't look confident, though got better as the game went on.
Don't understand Lawrence at #6 and never have. Daft.

Can't really bag anyone today as it was a much improved effort all round. Opposition was terrible but you need to win these games. Thought Woods played near his best game. Will Robbie be right to play next week? Don't quite get the new concussion rule.

I wouldn't be too harsh on Lawrence, he was shifted to the back row. He did better there than Bleh did.

The scoreline is nothing but a reflection of how bad penrith are.

We would have lost against every other team in the comp yesterday. Luke Lewis should have been man of the match, he outperformed everyone.

Woods and Ryan again our best. Moltzen better, I thought rowdy went ok compared to previous weeks, aysford was out of position as well to accommidate Reddy.

Tuqiri was f**king woeful.

Fulton again looked after Farah's defence workload. Galloway better.

In saying all this, the way the team played yesterday would have been deemed a bad game last year. Its now being heralded as our best this year in 7 outings.

Thats how bad we are. 2 points is good, but by no means are we in top 8 form, let alone premiership contenders.

Lawry played backrow and than 5/8.

Hopefully Adolf gets him running lines in the City camp and he comes back a new player, or more to the point the old Chris

He played what 10 mins in his natural position, then played back row and then second receiver. He had no hope of playing well. Its obvious he's out of form, why dickhead Sheens thought moving him into various roles during a game beats me. When Farah went off, we must have had half a dozen positional changes take place.

Fulton went to hooker, lawrence to lock, then humble went to hooker, lawrence to five-eight benji to halfback, aysford to the opposite centre.

What a pile of shithouse coaching.
