They seem to change their jersey or logo or something else every year.

The picture isn't too bad but the writing is shit. And hate how they are separating themselves from the "Penrith" name. The Panthers haven't even come close to conquering that district. Their goal should not be to try and become a national brand. They'll never do that before they get locals on board.

Big Sydney teams have as much support out west as they do. They need to grow their brand in the Penrith area before they go aiming for bigger things.

Not sure if what I'm gonna say makes sense, but.....

If this was a 3D image it would looks good. But obviously because it's 2D, it looks like the head is sunken into the body.

I think how it's viewed will also depend on the jersey design.

Just stick with the 2014 combination for a few years. No more drastic changes.

BM got it right re: Penrith. I think Gus' wants "Panthers" as a brand and leagues club to be synonymous with each other so we aren't so confined, but we've got a lot of work to do before we can just lose our roots like that. We don't have the overwhelming support in Penrith to just treat it as a given. I think in a few years the actual direction will become clear.

Just quietly, I am wondering if Penrith is going to go the way of Easts - drop the "Penrith" identifier for a few years and then sneakily change the name to "Western Sydney" or "Western Suburbs" or something similar to try and encompass the entire area.

i think that online one juro was submitted to the board but ultimately rejected when we were calling for designs.

I don't hate it and I'm not huge on it either. I would of preferred a return to the original Panther minus the framing. That second one someone posted up is nice though.

In any case it's better than the current one which is all kinds of stinky. The future does look bright for the Panthers though.
