The logo that juro posted looks a lot better but still not as good as their 1991 one.

Never been a fan of teams dropping their names and just call themselves the nickname, hence why Im glad teams like Cronulla and Canterbury have gone back to their original names.

I actually quite like the 'pink' panthers jersey/uniforms.

I reckon they play in pink at home, and chocolate brown away.

And if they keep the OAK sponsor, it works well.

Someone, somewhere else said about Western Suburbs wresting back the licence and then joining with Penrith...is this true too?

Also, this gold, black and white jersey for Penrith - is there a pic?

I would love them to do with the pink as their main. Pink Panthers would be a distinctive image in Australian sport.

So the new one is Gold, Black and White? As in they are ditching the black and teal? So this is a total rebranding again. Im not going to say its dumb until i see the new jersey, but dumb is definitely what im thinking.

^ Best logo. Best jersey. Best colour scheme. Instantly recognisable. Full of nostalgia and communicates an era of success to the fans. Could easily bring the design with this scheme into the 21st century.

I'm not hooked on what our design is, just that we stick with something. It's such a simple way to unite the club.

And I do love the pink jerseys.

I am not convinced that Gus wouldn't push for a "Western Sydney-esque" Panthers image in a couple of years after sneakily dropping the "Penrith", especially to compete with the AFL in the area.

That logo is f**king scary. Kids will be having nightmares if their folks hang that over their beds.

I approve. Children should not be forced to support Penrith, and this will be a great deterrent.

Yeah the pink panthers jersey is one of the best in the NRL and it is just perfect for the oak sponsorship. Not sure how panthers fans would feel about that though.
