Watching the Facebook stream on my TV. Stains at fullback is a shame. Keen to see him at centre but I get it. He has a kicking game!

The 5 who I've never heard of looks alright.

25 mins first half.

Staines easily MOTM. f**k yeah. Would be a mistake to let him go he'll be a damn fine player at his peak.

Nice to see Longi and cole play. Jenkins looks damn good as well. What a stacked team 😂

Iongi and Cole were both out of position too.

Jenkins is ready for NRL

Running downhill this game though. West Magpies aren't a good team on paper and when things went against them they packed it in and gave up.

His stats have been similarly good across his games. He's been relatively consistent.
Running metres wise but I'm talking his total value as a first grade player.

Staines value playing at his best wouldn't be the best in the team at running metres or runs out of his own end, that's something he can certainly hold his own in similar to say Alex Johnston. He's just not as good as the physically stronger Turuva at that or that tackle busting FB in jersey flegg atm.

His best position is FB and at FB his best attribute is producing points. How many can he produce against the best defensive sides in the NRL is what matters to us because now the club is about winning prems.

I think Charlie has done enough to make him an option for other clubs. i know the game on the weekend against a very poor Magpies is not the best example to show his attributes but he looked pretty good. At the end of the day, we probably need the money he is currently on which is far too much for a fringe player.
