While I personally wouldn't have an issue with it no doubt given some past indiscretions of league players and the typical association people make with hooters being sponsored by them would cause drama amongst do gooders and overly sensitive types.

Was watching the review of the Panthers draw with Ipswich.
I noticed that we were wearing our 2011 teal jerseys. I know that we play in old jerseys most of the time, but I thought the teal was scrapped?

The teal jersey I guess was somewhat scrapped through its non use in 2010 - the white ribbon jersey was supposed to be a one off to be worn for one game only (may have been the Eels in round 2), but over time it became the official away strip, which has been carried on to this season. I actually didn't mind the teal strip to be honest.

The Ipswich trial also still had the Sanyo sponsorship on the jerseys. I know the match wasn't televised, but where do you draw the line? Perhaps it's the same as 90%+ of fans (such as myself) who will rock up to matches this year with jerseys that have Sanyo, Dahdah Uniforms, Penrith City, etc. splashed across them (i.e. non-issue).

the new jerseys with oak on them are custom fitted and will take a while to make.It makes sence to use any current jerseys till they are ready

oak will be on the front and top back of the jersey

I'm thinking it will be Oak on the front, and maybe an associated sponsor (e.g. if there is another product that Oak makes) on the top back, similar to the Sanyo / Hit set up...
