This has the makings of a very important game. Panthers need to re-group get back to working as a team. Time to shut out the outside noise too.

Sadly (I believe) after many years of being a member and a fan. Panthers don't get the rub of the green re ref calls. Yesterday was one of those. Lost possession on our tryline. Try given when it appeared by the still photo Naden had grounded it. Messy ruck by opposition team, hands all over the ball it seemed almost every tackle. Tin foil had stuff.

Now it's time to put that aside.

Iv get the tacking bags out. It's time to work hard.

Naden was clearly trying to scoop it dead. He should have just forced it and no doubt will get spoken to. However, Mansour was pushed by Rapana while in the air and this should have been enough to disallow the try. Then you had Edwards tackled without the ball again by Rapana resulting in a line drop out when he might have made it into the field of play. Raiders score off the short dropout. These were the two tries that won Canberra the game.

We did get one go our way when Cleary stole the ball after the Wighton break. They could easily have ruled 2 in the tackle. Also To'o was fortunate not to be penalised for a tackle in the air, it didn't result in a try though.

our 2 first tries conceded yesterday were very frustrating, just simple errors in defence and after being dominant in the first 15-20 - we found ourselves down 12-4...

our attack in the 20 left a lot to be desired yet again this season, you can say Canberra defended well, but we looked like a bottom 4 team in attack... we looked atrocious at times....

I still think we have enough to beat Canterbury, but Canterbury are no easy beats and will hang in for the 80 so have to be on our game for the whole game !

Well said. I think we also allowed the Canberra team to get under our skin. Take our eye of the prize which was winning a game of footy.

Yeah it was a weird game and we both had calls against us missed.

They are showing fight now which is dangerous for teams like us fighting for the 8. We've seen in previous years teams miss out due to these games. If we show up prepared we should be dominant though.

Its a very winnable game, and it should be a comfortable victory. This is an obvious game to make a statement. The Raiders game was marked by many as one to lose, we just got caught up in our winning streak. Thoroughly outplayed yesterday and now we are back to planet earth.

I'd unleash Leinu in this one.

You forgot Crichton for Mansour. You said in the other comment he's been playing wing.

What position is Burns?
