Plus every club has fans that are disgusting humans. Who have yelled racist shit. Started fights. Abused other people in the stadium etc.

This supporter was in a Roosters jersey. I can only imagine his racist comments singling out Mitchell was because he's a former Rooster and he must think it makes him cool or tough or some shit.

Obviously did the opposite. Also haven't seen anyone mention that Luai turned around and went to support Mitchell when it happened.
Thats coz everyone thinks luai is a grub..
Besides i was merely pointing out to potato face that this wasn't some penrith fan like he reported/posted
Yes it was a neutral of niether club, and said something terrible, but that happened with naden a few seasons back at central coast stadium, a group of derilcs wearing all black gear was giving it to him at a penrith vs warriors game... it happens, its shit, its not an isolated "Latrell" incident, my point was its not penrith fans doing it, like @Get Rid of The Donkeys suggested

Ban the parents of the kid who racially abused Latrell.

They bred the muppet, they should have to wear it too if they can't educate their kids on what is right and wrong.

“Whether we like it or not, they were wearing our colours. We have to accept that, but that doesn’t make them a Rooster.

“If you want to act like that, abuse people and do it racially like that, then that’s not who we are and that’s not who we want to be. We need to get better than that.

“From us, apologising from the Roosters to Latrell is important, even though it’s not directly one of our fans who support us who did that. That’s not right.”

---

Thankfully Robinson and the Roosters understand the issue. Doesn't take a big brain to understand it.

Racism is wrong. And the clothes you wear or your place of residence don't mean shit.

If I had a kid and they did that, adult or adolescent, I'd give them a right hiding. No sensitivity training if it happened in my household or within my network of friends.

Enough shit in society to deal with and racism is just one thing that makes me see red.

Just a coach backing his former player. Good enough for me.

Of course he’s ashamed - so am I but to say he doesn’t give two f**ks about Latrell is utterly wrong. He’s spoken highly of him, both as a person as well as a player, even after he went to the enemy and they’re still on speaking terms.

I don't think people realise that the hatred is only between us fans, most players/coaches are all matey-matey and don't really give two hoots

This has got little to with "club v club" stuff at all. The only one taking that angle seems to be you, and wanting to tar every Roosters supporter with it. Then when our club's coach comes out saying he apologises to Latrell about it, where was his comment in support of Naden? FMD take your partisan club coloured glasses off!!!!

I may have been unhappy with how Latrell left the Roosters, but I would never abuse him about his ancestry or background. About the only "cheering" I did against him was back in round 26 last year, and that was because our defence in that game kept him bottled up tight preventing him from having a big impact on the game. I respect him as an person, an individual, and as a damn fine rugby league player.

Until people stop chucking stones about "oh that so and so supports [club x]" mentality when situations like this occur, you givce people like that some fig leaf to hide behind. You only have to look at the comments of those who carried on with Adam Goodes, they used that very rationale to justify what they did.

It's racism, end of story. I don't care who did it, nor why. It is unnacceptable! End of story.

They made him an offer that would’ve made him the highest paid centre in the game but wouldn’t commit and said he wanted to test the market. Politis didn’t want to get into a bidding war and gave him an ultimatum, sign or f**k off. If that’s pushing him out then yeah, they pushed him out.

Roosters latrell was imo peak latrell. Too much pressure on him at south’s

south’s wouodve kept sualli dunno if that’s better than how it’s turned out now

he was in tears when he realised they wouldn’t give him another offer

For longevity, I’d say Trell was the better outcome for Souths. Can’t see Suallii sticking around given his rugby upbringing whereas Latrell deadset loves his club.
