Penrith. I like the sound of the word.

It's not just a place, it's a community. And a shield needs just that. Glad we are bringing JJ Gil home where he belongs. Surrounded by a people who understand the great game of Rugby League.

it was nice of Abdo to get him out and into the fresh air of Brisbane... But he is home now

I think even Penrith fans would admit that the 2023 team is not as good as the 2022 team was. Despite that, they are still very much the benchmark and the best team in the comp. Im glad Penrith brought out a strong squad this round and made a statement against a NQ team that was hunting for a finals spot and actually looked up for it at the start. The way Penrith (once again) rocked up to the challenge and absolutely belted NQ with their defence shows that they will be a very tough nut to crack over the next few weeks. In my opinion, too tough of a nut to crack. Barring injury to a key player, the three-peat will happen.

Dud clubs will offer over a million
He is worth that much, maybe more, we don't see it as much, because he is parked on the edge playing as a 5/8th, but he is a damn good halfback, you get him at the dogs, tigers or dragons, and he'll make them contenders... pur him at dolphins, roosters or warriors and theyll challenge us, we all saw him in the RLWC leading samoa, imagine a proper NRL club, that isn't thrown together a for a few months...
Knowing romey he stays, as he wants to play with his mates, and moving on guys like garner or soni etc will free the cap enough to bump him up, and replace with a youngin

Lacks any distance on long kicks. That's a pretty major issue
