Lacks any distance on long kicks. That's a pretty major issue
Whens the last time he needed to do it?
You're only seeing him at 5/8th fill in for a half he doesn't even do that anymore, not since SOS and cogs fill in for nath, but hand him the reigns and we'll see him turn the clock to his junior grades halfback skills.. again we are parking him on an edge for our team, he goes anywhere a will demand a mill easy, if potato counting mitch moses runs a side, romey does it on his head

Are you paying $900k for a 5/8 that could possibly play 7?

yes but he isn't an organiser. He will go well outside even an average 7.
Neither is shaun johnson, but the warriors got to 4th place pretty easy with him there, i watched webbys interview last night, and he has got them humming by putting the ownership of their training and video back on the players, infact they are responsible for their workload... if they want to be better theyll be in the position they have to be on the field, and instead of Shaun barking ordered at them, theyll just know to be whereever as options for shaun to pull triggers..
You don't have to be a good organiser if the team is already organised, i saw a play the warriors did some months back, that shaun went to the line maybe 20meters out and as he dummied, then threw a cut out pass to a second rower to score a try, seems pretty standard you might say, but the intresting part was that shaun had 4 guys all running in tandem, anyone of them ready to catch him pass and all running their respective holes.. gone are the days of the organising halfback, when mitch moses is carried off on a stretcher, the pawwa team fall apart, you cant rely on one dude.. the team needs to perform on it own without the Reynolds, Cleary, and Johnsons

4th place but have a horrible record against Top 8 teams

A group of blokes playing on pure emotion for a month isn't the NRL
Doesn't matter, the other teams like england, Tonga and NZ were stacked with talent, i thought for sure NZ would make the finals, vs Aus... even without critta and hammer for most of the games they made the finals, again its no fluke
