You worried Walshy wont get a pic with the actual trophy? He can always come to Panthers have a crack at aqua golf and pose for a pic with the trophy & JJ. Luai can show him where it is.

If Penrith win the comp this year it will be their most impressive. This aint a knock on them at all but the 2023 team shouldnt be winning a Premiership, they arent anywhere near what they were in 2020-2022. If 2020-22 Storm/Rabbits/Eels were playing in 2023 they win the comp imo. Its a testament to the systems that Penrith have clearly built over the past few years that they are still Premiership favourites despite losing as many if not more quality players then the fore mentioend teams have over the past few years.

Next year will be interesting. Shedding 2 rep level players a year has to bite eventually. Plus the depth has been pretty well pillaged also the last few years.

We have been part lucky and part extremely well managed that the replacements hit 1st grade looking more like 100 gamers than rookies. The top 17 next year looks fine, Taylan May should fill Critta's spot to a high standard, and we will have to adapt losing Leniu's impact, but Smith is still quality. After that though we need the kids to hit the big time in the fashion as Tago, Taylan, Critta etc did before them. Big ask really.
