He might say he's a good player, but I never noticed him try to sign him up.M’Bye is a good player according to Gus... just another statement from ‘the smartest mind in the game’

Well if you're counting retired players, last night we were without Royce Simmons.Last week vs Canberra, the Roosters were without Friend, Cordner, Collins, Radley, Chrichton, Keary, Walker and B Morris. There's 8 starters right there. Also, thrown in Verrils, Smith and Hutchinson who would likely be in the 17.
We're talking about players who are in this year's squad and salary cap. Can't be that hard to understand.Well if you're counting retired players, last night we were without Royce Simmons.
You mean those you are getting a cap dispensation for, and those who are medically retired? Not hard to understand at all. We're talking about players who are in this year's squad and salary cap. Can't be that hard to understand.
Not hard to understand? Have you met Froggy? We're talking about players who are in this year's squad and salary cap. Can't be that hard to understand.
Actually, no cap dispensation has been used re. Cordner and Friend's retirement was just that - not a dodgy medical retirement with cap relief, ala Burgess. Bit harder for you to understand than you let on.You mean those you are getting a cap dispensation for, and those who are medically retired? Not hard to understand at all.
Penrith had 9 players out, but we had M’Bye in our team. It all evens out, they just weren’t good enough.

He was joking you know. We're talking about players who are in this year's squad and salary cap. Can't be that hard to understand.
So smug.GEnuine question, Ive never seen it before. It was a Tigers home game, at Leichhardt, and Penrith bring their own backdrop for the presser. Is this a normal thing?
It was a sponsors backdrop. In the past month, we have attracted and maintained sponsorship dealings that we are very grateful for, being that we don't survive on the big end of town that the likes of Roosters, Souths and others have in the corporate world.GEnuine question, Ive never seen it before. Panthers had their own sponsors backdrop in Magic Round as well.GEnuine question, Ive never seen it before. It was a Tigers home game, at Leichhardt, and Penrith bring their own backdrop for the presser. Is this a normal thing?
It happens. We paid Sam McKendry for 3 years without him playing more than a few minutes. I'm sure Brett Morris will qualify for medical retirement. There is and will be no cap dispensation for Friend as this was the last year of his contract so saying we are missing friend in any given game is absolutely valid.
It was a valid point that Roosters have had a lot of blokes out (a few of them suspended), but then the need was felt to embellish it with those who have either received a cap discount or will likely apply for medical retirement and get as cap discount for that.He was joking you know.
Tigers would love this. They wouldnt get to play a depleted side, but would happily give that up to get rid of all byes. Namely this one

One of those quality juniors is your best player. We dont get to keep all of them.Penrith supporters bleat about producing all these quality juniors that can fill 3 nrl sides yet next minute they have to play said juniors, get flogged and whinge about it.
