I'm not saying they should have number restrictions on the 95% of games which are not sell outs, but when there are sought after games like this, they need to have a look at this practice....

Not always possible at times to get someone to go with but i see your point.

And for big games like this I guess your right they should maybe have a look at the practice. But these games are when you tend to get a big rush of mates that want to go.

EG if i was in townsville for this, once announced it was moving to townsville I would be on the blower to mates, find out how many are interested and whoever can get to ticketek fastest gets the tickets. When its a hot ticket you have to be quick!

Yeah but say a group of 4 of you are going to the game and you all line up and buy tickets at say 4 each, You then have 12 between you to sell off and make a profit to cover the cost of your own tickets.

It really does suck... Especially at concerts that sell out very fast.

But then again there ARE some people on ebay who might have had a friend bail on them, or just for some other reason they can't make it. They're well within their rights to start the bidding at $20 and let people who really want a ticket to bid as high as they want.
