A couple of telemarketers who have called this week could certainly cop a few to the chin....if I was a violent man ;-) bloody pain in the neck and won't take no for an answer, one of them I hung up on before they could start their blurb and he had the hide to call again a few minutes later and ask me why :?

Whatever scummy merkin came up with AXS.com's bullshit checkout system. Enter my details, then it says "Credit card details wrong, please try again". I shrug, re enter and go again. Still the same shit. Try again, going over my numbers to make sure it's all legit. Still nothing.

So i check my bank, and bam, five f**king pending transactions of 130 dollars a pop. And still not a ticket that i was trying to get. I go away in three weeks, and i need that f**king money. Ringing the bank in the morning, but i haven't raged this hard in a long long time.

It's the last f**king thing i had to buy as well. Problem free until this bullshit.

I've had this happen a few times (for much smaller amounts, thankfully). Some technical error causes the transaction to not process properly. The money comes out of your account, but the payment fails on the other end (usually with a card declined error). The transaction/s will show as pending for a few days, and then they will fail, and the funds will be returned to your account. Annoying as hell, but the problem usually fixes itself.

What'd the bank say when you called them?

On topic, the website designers are not to blame. This sort of thing can happen with any credit card transaction (including debit cards). Technical glitches are unavoidable. The real issue is that due to the 2-4 day delays built into all credit transactions by the banking system, you're left short of funds until everything rectifies itself.

Aye, it sorted itself out, after much googling I left it. There is still one charge going through, but I've emailed them to send the ticket through. If I miss out on mark Henry because of a glitch, I'll go postal.
