You wont find Manly fans disagreeing with you lot. But to defend King, that was probably his worth game for the season.

I can't decide ... Perry and White are either dating one of the selector's daughters, or one of the selectors themselves.

I would not pick Perry, cannot believe he made Australia and the 1st team for NSW. King will add some mongrel but there are more deserving performers imo. Douglas, Snowden etc.

Totally ... the two props from the competition's worst performing team. That'll work.

Does it really matter who they play for if they are performing well? Both are far better players than Perry and White, I don't care who they play for.

But can they throw a good right hook? This is obviously a key factor when the dinosaurs sit down and select the side. Who cares if they make 40 metres when they can knock someone out...

Its all about the biff....White is Mr Intimidator, but his actual play is on par with Derick McVey

Saab ... could you enlighten us on how White intimidates?

Does he call people names or something?

I was joking about White...he is useless in origin, and was only picked in game one cause of the game three fight last yr.
Bellamy has ALOT to answer for in regards to his selection...and i am sure once the series is wrapped up Bellamy and the selectors will be throwing mud at each other

Craig Bellamy the guy who has picked Steve Turner, James McManus, Jamal Idris and Wolfman Williams for SOO positions. What a myth he is

Luke Stuart is a better prop then White and Perry and the like.
I think its the fact they play for more high profile clubs that they get picked.

Luke Stuart would do an awesome job in Origin.
He wont get his chance though seeing as he is 32/33 now.

He is much like Skandalis in that respect.

Some players are just never considered by selectors regardless of how well they perform or how many times they prove themselves

Stuart would probably be in double figures if he was a Queenslander.

All while coaching a team that was well over the cap.

He certainly does have a love affair with hacks though. And seemingly a love affair of big bushy beards and dreadlocks.

I have sweet FA ability but I might get a dreadlock wig and bootpolish up. I might be a shot at Origin

Kade Snowden and Luke Douglas have been consistently good in an underperforming sharks side week in and out. Both deserve to atleast have their name in the mix.

By the same token, Thurston is the halfback from one of the most disappointing and under performing sides in the NRL. I would hope that logic wouldn't preclude him from being selected.

Individual players can still shine in weak sides.

I wouldn't pick either in my SOO team atm. King's been ok, but hardly damaging. I can't believe the knob bagging Glenn Stewart though. Week in, week out, he give 110% along with Watmough. And you have to admit the entire Manly forward pack can't be labelled soft (as some tossers are making out) or else we wouldn't be where we are on the table this year. The Manly forward pack is one of the better forward packs in the competition and I believe it has a lot to do with Stewart and Watmough.
