I wouldn't pick either in my SOO team atm. King's been ok, but hardly damaging. I can't believe the knob bagging Glenn Stewart though. Week in, week out, he give 110% along with Watmough. And you have to admit the entire Manly forward pack can't be labelled soft (as some tossers are making out) or else we wouldn't be where we are on the table this year. The Manly forward pack is one of the better forward packs in the competition and I believe it has a lot to do with Stewart and Watmough.

Being too soft for Origin doesn't make you a soft player.

Alan Tongue is one tough mf. So is Michael Luck. Both give 110% every week Neither are Origin material though.

Stewart is a good player, a very good player. But I have my reservations about whether he can hold his own in Origin. I would take Stewart, Kite, or King any day at the Roosters, but they wouldn't be my first picks for Origin.

Becasue next to Daley, Bozo, and McCarthy he is a nobody....he is like Daniel Fitzhenry hanging around league players

Gerard is a Nobody??? He played 300+ games (the first man to do so) and is a Legend of the game. Played for Parramatta, Many, Penrith, City, NSW & Australia. He has a great football brain and you don't play that many games and don't know your stuff and he still involved with the game since retiring as a coach and director of Parramatta. So when you call a legend a nobody have a look at what you done in your career. give yourself an uppercut

Oh please....I know the history of Gerard, but seriously, next to Bozo, Daley and McCarthy he is not exactly in the same company is he? He does not have the profile the others do as Gerard is not in the public eye like his three mates.

To be fair, Des Morris and Alan Smith aren't exactly giants of the game, but do a great job as Queensland selectors.

Agree 100%. I would maybe add Keith Galloway into the mix for props if not injured.

Maybe not . Ranks 116 average tackles in 2010 with 21 . Then again B White, J king and Weymam not much better . 3-0 to QLD absolute certainty unless they get on the turps like last year and nsw wins dead rubber .

Can't believe Bailey can't get a mention . Average tackles 31 and 15 hitups, close to top workhorse in Australia and hardly missed a game this year .
Old workhorses are proven winners at SOO along with douglas, snowden , maybe weyman / mannah off the bench .
