Turned down a couple of the other clubs over the last few weeks. He'll get a good budget and he's already got some decent players to work with. By the 3rd year, you'd expect him to have at least gone close to winning a trophy if he wants to be a top class coach.

It's a good match and a good time in Hull FC's history with a new chairman and direction.

I've always thought him very good, certainly more so than Georgallis. Let's see if he proves it.

I always liked the way he came across. I would have liked to have seen him take over from Sheens.
