Up until this week they had the same issues they had in 2013.

No, they didn't. The injuries they suffered this year were existent last year but nowhere near the extent they have been in 2014. Furthermore, they had a coach that still had the passion and desire to do the job, they don't have that this year.

Keep finding ridiculous straws to clutch for mate, doesn't help your utterly delusional and rubbish "opinions" or "facts"

And I'd use the same words to describe Langmack. But Langmack didn't have an origin captain. He didn't have half a dozen present or former origin players. He had a team that was worth about half as much as the rest of the comp with no stars at all. The Sharks have/had Gallen, Lewis, Carney, Gordon, Fifita etc etc

You are a clueless f**kwit

Should I just start following another team?

Sorry just don't roll that way.

I am not happy and next stab to the heart will be if either Price or Kimmorley are hired.

I will however be renewing my membership as usual.

I look to forward to seeing young Fa'amanu Brown having a run @ 6, with an experienced half in Robson to help guide him.

Feel for Sharpie, top fella.

This

It's like Swarzey said.

With all the ASADA crap, injuries and players pissed off that Flanno was outed, Sharp was on a flogging to nothing. Feel for the bloke .

Just bring on the ASADA finding and let us clean the joint out. Start fresh in 2015.

On Flanno, what the hell was this club thinking!

And this.

I don't think there's any more resilient fans in the game than sharks fans.

Besides all the off field bullshit Sharp has had to deal with so far including the ASADA garbage their season has been plagued by injuries to most of those players you named so your point is f***ing stupid.

The next interim coach will struggle to be much better. The team still have all the on field problems, and he still can't sack anybody. So the players still won't give a toss about training or rehab, still won't push themselves to take the field, and they will still have a slow backline.

Flanno signed Toddles, "supervised" the Dank era, and built the roster. He'll be back soon. FMD.

Penrith had some culture issues not long back, with the player group being too powerful. A lot of the guys we moved on went to Cronulla, I wonder if they just reestablished themselves there. Maybe the didn't start it, but might have folded straight in to the existing group and made things worse.

Same story for Wests Tigers...1+1=3

I don't see how anyone can be so critical of Sharp's stint as head coach. It's a job he never wanted in the first place and had a team ravaged by injuries, a sudden retirement and off field drama in Carney and ASADA.

It's like shifting a NSW Cup halfback into first grade when he didn't want to be and calling him a dud because he couldn't perform. Or perhaps a better example, Merritt playing Origin...except not really...but sort of...

I don't doubt Sharp did the best he could with the little motivation and desire he had. If anyone is to blame, it's just simply Cronulla itself for not signing someone who actually wanted the job.

Thanks for not kicking us whilst we're down.

They should just let Gallen Captain-Coach. It would actually be pretty interesting to see how that went.

Finally, a first grade opening for Supercoach Stephen Kearney! That would serve the Sharks right.

Can't blame Sharp for a bunch of lazy and egotistical players that can't be bothered training and spend half the time feeling all hard done by because ASADA made their squad from 3 years ago piss into bottles or something....

I can't think of anyone that wold willingly step in and coach this rabble for the remainder of the season until Flanagan makes his return to the role. Hopefully by then the whole operation will be forcibly relocated in the wake of ASADA player suspensions, and in return for the club having brought the league into disrepute.
