Wouldn`t be surprised if they bought a bit more of that or similar type of real estate up there though, you know Olympics, union wc et.al. coming and all.
This is the bloke under who`s stewardship Harold Park raceway bought a row of terrace housing next door when he was expanding (very successfully, I might add) their revenue streams. He`s become a little more sophisticated with his investments now. ;);)

You buy where is good value for money, Too many in the one place is bad business but another couple up there makes sense

No but you have to be white to play it, That limits their player pool

Don’t be silly. You don’t have to be white to play it. You just might cop abuse if you aren’t.

In all seriousness though, for that game you have to run a lot. So I guess you have to have good aerobic capacity. It doesn’t require a lot of skill though.

On that point a fumbler mate of mine went on one of his poorly disguised nrl attacks yesterday talking about:
1. the distances fumblers run ( yeah I watch a sport just to watch players run around in circles) 2. the dominance of Pacifika players in league and lack of ‘white Anglo’s’ (racist much - he’s a Collingwood fan) and
3.the fumblers ability to pay CTI legal costs while the nrl will go broke.

The fear is real and the racism more so.

Wow the second point is pretty enlightening. Your fumbler mate mustn’t like a lot of sports then considering most other sports, like most other things in society, are fairly multicultural

The third one doesn’t make any sense.

This is a common statement by fumbler mates suffering from NRL phobia. Basically their argument is that league is a game only for Pacifika and true Aussies play fumbles as in ‘white Anglos’. Pretty ugly. These guys are fumble preachers. Why they waste their time on me I’ll never know.

Mate, I‘d even question if they run more than NRL players. I’ve done the ‘gotta see a game at the G for the Melbourne experience‘ shit like most people. What you don’t see on TV as the camera is naturally chasing the ball but see at the ground, is players at the other end of the action standing around scratching their nuts. Unlike our game, I don’t recall seeing any fumbler run the length of the pitch, I mean, that’s why they kick, right? Sure RL is played on a smaller field but with our game having players running constantly ten metres forward, ten back with fewer stoppages, I’d argue they run similar distances and that’s on top of all the collisions.

Couldn’t agree more. I was subjected to a game a couple of years ago and most players at any given moment are statues. White skinny brittle untalented statues

Fair enough. I can’t really say I think about that other game much. I thought there must be a reason why all of their players are skinny rakes

They need to be able to jump I guess. Can’t imagine a body type like Taumalolo jumping high enough to take a mark. Nor do they need to tackle.

but AFL has those 2 African dudes who never even seen AFL until they were 18 lol

I can picture some AFL representative just walking up to them in the street and handing them a Sharon "here, you're a star now".

I`ve never been to a fumbleball game and never will but I do remember when my son and I first watched a game on telly (lasted about10 minutes mind you) We thought there had been a pitch invasion by the crowd there was so many people on the field. Christ we laughed.

They just boo them. Problem solved :)
Gee I`d hate to see that relentless booing stuff come into our game. I like to think that our game is more manly than that, or at least has a bit more honour. I was worried when we started to get a bit of that stuff with Latrell, hopefully it seems to have died out, hopefully.

Yep and from a parents point of view is a soft game for kids to play. As opposed to trying to tackle a monster in RL

I have, and at the MCG no less. Did it as I was stuck in Melbourne with nothing to do so thought I'd check it out for myself. I was so bored I literally left at halftime.

Magic Round in Sydney, the City that has at least 6 games on every weekend, would be peak NRL decision making.
