AFL equal stupid. I'd move the Melbourne Demons to Tas and call them the Tassie Demons or Van Diemen's land FC, merge the Swans with GWS so they both keep their stupid names GWS, Giant White Swan and be done with 16 teams. The sport isn't ever going to be big enough to support any more teams, where are the players coming from, no one else plays it.

And as for all the Vldys haters whinging about a junket, I'd be more worried if he was sitting on his arse doing absolutely nothing.

Hall of Fame Round. Every year, say 3 rounds before the finals. At Homebush play a double header on the Sunday afternoon. Four big Sydney teams to start but it can rotate. Say Eels vs Rabbitohs and Bulldogs vs Dragons. Invite past players to come. I’m talking about hundreds of them. Give them accommodation and tickets etc. In between the matches, you induct players into the hall of fame. Hands out awards for matches played etc. Treat it like a carnival, a bit like the NFL pro bowl. Have special event games for past and recently retired players.
