Spot on. There are a few that are bloody embarrassing

The one that sounds drunk all the time is probably the key one.

Nevertheless, he can put pressure on Fox or whomever to say he is not happy but he can’t actually remove them can he. They are not employees of the NRL, they are employees of News Limited, Fairfax et al.

“If you think back to when Peter V’landys first took over the NRL and all the sports betting agencies in Australia were operating, he went to all of them and said, ‘Listen, you’re using our intellectual property, you’re using rugby league to draw markets so we want a percentage of that’ and almost instantly he got $30 million coming in.”

I went to a Cowboys vs Storm final at the SFS years back.
It was just weird.

Compare that finals game atmosphere in 2005 to 12 months earlier where Brisbane and NQ played in Townsville (ironically was meant to also be played in Sydney but the NRL wisened up and changed it 5 days prior to the game) and it's chalk and cheese. Still to this day other than the 2015 GF, my most favourite NQ game in 29 seasons. A game like that would have been completely wasted in Sydney.

It's been the best build up the an NRL season kick off that I can remember. Maybe since 1999 when they got something like 100k people to a double header kick off at the Olympic stadium

Doesn’t really dispel the image of the game being Sydney centric does it?
I'd like to hear Kent explain why he thinks 9k people at the SFS for Cowboys vs Storm is more special than a sold out North Queensland Stadium/MRS?

Does he not realise his proposal will price many fans out of attendance?

One of them died from cancer a few years ago. I don't know if it's true, but some one on on YouTube said that the ring leader, Travers, had a sharp object inserted into arse and now wears a colostomy bag.
Travers mugshot is one of the most bone chilling things I’ve ever seen. The most dead soulless eyes not even the greatest of actors could pull off.

He is why I strongly believe in death sentences. Nothing will convince me true evil like that deserves life in any way.
