That's goldNot up to you I'm afraid.
DCE had his best game of the year last night. And the Titans spine is by far the worst in the comp.
DCE ticks all the boxes. Release Brimson.

You haven’t produced any stats at all. Just opinions and ‘a mate told me’. Just admit you are wrong mate. It’s okay! The fact you lied about Canberra rugby league shrinking is your problem. Now settle petal. But you guys just throw out any fact or stat you don't like...
Yeah I carefully curated an account for years and a thousand posts just so I could finally launch a secret AFL troll mission. I can't believe you saw through it! Truly a dizzying intellect.
Anyway you're getting a little bit worked up about it so I'll just leave you be so you don't have to keep seething all day.
That's goldrelease Brimson for a 37 year old you'll get one season out of that has already backflipped on the club previously. Geez, lucky you aren't running the Tits, they'd get the spoon 10 years in a row with you making those kind of calls
Hey buddy whats that about ?What’s the Buzz: V’landys and NFL boss do a deal
Phil Rothfield reveals what ARLC chair Peter V’landys and NFL boss Roger Goodell discussed over an hour-long chat at NFL headquarters in the United States last week.
Is that you Kenty? It’s time to scrap the 6 again rule. It was implemented with good intentions to keep the game moving but in reality it’s just an albatross around the game’s neck. There’s nothing more frustrating as a fan when the game sequence goes set restart/set restart/try . Even more so when a team has defended the set on their line bravely when late in the count you hear that stupid noise signalling 6 again. And a lot of the time when signalled there is no difference in the ptb speed.
Even when your team scores on the back of that , your first reaction is embarrassment. And when your team is on the receiving end you feel like putting a brick through the TV.
never liked it, surprised how popular it is with fans...It’s time to scrap the 6 again rule. I’m not up to my 20th schooner yet. Might have to go and head butt the nearest tree anyway if I have to watch any more games won on the back of referees. Is that you Kenty?![]()
I don’t think it’s popular with fans at all. I talk to a lot of genuine supporters and I haven’t met one who is a fan of it. Can you imagine team X attacking in a grand final behind by 2 with 5 minutes left receiving 3 set restarts in a row and winning on the back of it. ? Would be a hollow victory. You should have to earn your tries , not have them presented to you on a silver platter.
Good in theory but you have to remember why it was brought in in the first place. Cynical penalties being given away inside the 20m so defence could get set and have a breather. Teams only have themselves to blame for its existence. It’s time to scrap the 6 again rule. Yes it replaced penaltiesIt feels like the 'six-again' is an addition to penalties, not a replacement. Don't have hard data on that but it's a gut feel.
Be interesting if those in the amateur data community have those statistics.
Or the referees could have sin binned the cynical teams. It seems as though the better teams were happy to give away a cynical penalty as they could defend it. Then with the 6 agains, the better teams speed up the ruck when they have the ball by playing tunnel ball and the lower teams get shafted by trying to slow it down.Good in theory but you have to remember why it was brought in in the first place. Blame the Roosters, that was pretty much their game plan.Good in theory but you have to remember why it was brought in in the first place. Cynical penalties being given away inside the 20m so defence could get set and have a breather. Teams only have themselves to blame for its existence.
All penalties did was punish the attacking team. Six agains cost the defending team much more. In that regards you can say its been a success. I do agree though it does appear at times totally random and I feel the refs are far more happy to give them as there isnt time to review if ref is right or being pedantic. The cynic in me would say its become the perfect tool for keeping games close and giving teams a chance to score.Or the referees could have sin binned the cynical teams. Just want the refs to apply the rules and not pick and choose. I know we don't want a thousand penalties a game but if a coach is dumb enough to have their team constantly breaking the rules then keep penalising them. Why change the rules because some teams consistently break them, just penalise the transgressors. They will quickly wise up that they will have to stop giving penalties away.
People quickly forget what an abysmal game it was when teams were giving away penalty after penalty on their line. There is no 'Six Again Fan Club'. Nor is there a 'Penalty Fan Club'. No fan wants either.
But watch the product with six agains vs penalties and you'll have your answer as to why RL is the premier sport in Australia right now. NRL is simply better to watch now than the previous decade and this rule change is one of the main reasons why.
