People who say/write the date the wrong way around every time

Eg October 24 instead of 24 October. Very petty but it drives me nuts

uhuh .... YYMMDD maintains chronological order in a filing system whereas DDMMYY in a filing system is all over the place.

The price of everything in this country.

Been back for ~3 weeks and I can't believe how expensive it's gotten.
It's like everything is 50% more expensive than when we left 3 years ago.
And my wife wants to move back.

Pharque that.
I can't wait to head back to Thailand.

I'm in England at the moment and it's the same, last time I was here it seemed pretty good price wise for food and drinks etc but now it's absolutely ridiculous the price of everything. Even public transport costs are an absolute rort.

Last time I was in London - 2003 - it cost 20 quid a day just to breathe.
