Alamoti extended for 25 around the middle of the year. There was talk the club was recently looking to extend him further which is nice. Guy helped us move on from May without missing a beat and frankly he’s shown as much as May did in his two months at centre and we all feel much better about who we have representing our club.

Solid win last night. Felt like we were in third gear most of the night until we kicked into gear to put it beyond doubt after their try. Given it was wet also I’m not too surprised it was a muted performance.

Cleary is an animal, must be at 8-9 MOTMs in finals over the past 5 years now, insanity. Nice to see our edges hold up well. Kenny, Moses and Martin with average games which made us feel a little less intense. Hopefully they’re saving the pain for Melbourne.

Also, congrats to the great man Isaah. Brought a tear to my eye watching him run out alone and soak it up. Crazy to think we very well might have 6 guys from this team go ahead of Carter when all is said and done.

I still can’t fathom why the Gould let him go! But glad for us that he did.

Does anyone know if we have actually re-signed him yet? If not, then his value has just gone up after a performance like that in a prelim final.

He doesn’t show as signed for us for 2025 on Foxsports, Zero Tackle etc.

Re-signed but done so on way unders for a starting centre.

He is on about $200k this year. Re-signed under the same conditions for 2025 but now a starter needs more for longer years

Papi, Munster and Grant are all a tad overrated.

All pressure on Hughes who has been the Storm's best player this year. Followed by Katoa who has been terrific as well.
We need to tackle Munster around the legs, not go high as he is strong up high.

We need to put Papenhausen on his back because he loves to surrender and land on his knees for the quick play the ball.

And we definitely need to manhandle and rough Grant up to the point he and some of his devotees react. They will be doing the same thing to Nathan.

Hughes is a fantastic ball runner and has a great dummy, working hard from the inside should counter this.

Gonna be close but experience should tell in the end.

Paul alamoti how good is he going. Not the same type of body shape as critta but just as gifted athletically. Showing great signs defensively. Developing his passing and his quick touch passes in particular is the next step for him next season. If he can do that and continue his defensive progression and he’s the full package.

Wouldn’t be moving him from centre next year, mcleans can fight for a wing spot.

Yeah we missed a chance early on with an unmarked Turuva outside him but at 19 that is to be expected

Turuva doesn't have the athletic gifts to make the most of the overlap that far out.

There is a good chance he goes into touch from the cover defence since he only has average acceleration and speed.

No guarantee he scores but a centre in that situation should be able to atleast pass and give him a chance
