Phelps and Hughes sign for 2 more years

The Mitsubishi Electric Bulldogs announced today that Cameron Phelps and Corey Hughes had re-signed with the Club for the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
Phelps and Hughes are products of the Bulldogs junior rugby league program and both played at the same junior club, St Christophers.
Phelps, 20, is a gifted player with extensive junior representative honours including Australian Schoolboys, NSW U17s, NSW U19s and Australian U19s.
Phelps made his first grade debut this season as a centre against the Sea Eagles in round 10 and hasnt missed a game since.
Hughes, 27, has played 133 first grade games for the Bulldogs making his debut against Adelaide in round 8, 1998.
Commenting on the signings Bulldogs football manager Bradley Clyde said, Cameron and Corey give us what every club needs, youth and experience. Coreys versatility as a player has been essential to the success of the team over recent years and Cameron has shown that he is a player to watch in the future and I am glad the Bulldogs will be part of that future.
