Phil Blake try 1988 vs Balmain

I've had people request this try.

It was a classic match at the SFS vs Balmain.

Davidson and Roach got involved in a few fights this match.
Both getting marched in the bin for 10.

Balmain lead the match for most of the game until Blake weaved his magic and got us back in front with this try.

We went on to win the game.

Phil is my all time favourite player and is doing it hard at the moment with health issues.

I wish him all the best.

Blakey was the chip and chase master. One of the sweetest moments in my Souths memory was the announcement that we had stolen him from Manly, He really blossomed at Souths, I wish him a full recovery.
