Since I could'nt post my comment in that drivel of a column you wrote today. I thought I'd post it here . Since you get most of your quotes from place's like this I'm sure you'll read it .
IMO Buzz the only Love you and the people you work for have in the game is how much money it can make you. Remember the mess the Optus/Foxtel war for league rights did to the game I haven't seen you do much in League other than make cheap shots at other league people . Seems like you and others of your ilk feed your egos by attacking others .So I surpose I'll do the same to you . If the AFL assault of Western Sydney bothers you get of your arse and do something about it .Your stories are a bit like your team , full of promise's for no result .

He is a f**kin moron.
I give a few comments disagreeing as politely as I can with some of his opinions but it obviously never gets posted on there. The only ones that get accepted are from idiots that write shit like this one today "Congratulations Phil, this article is a rare gem insight into the mind of an over-rated force within the NRL business. What else is there left to say?? All ego without ideas."
Its probably him commenting his own collums under different names.

Wasted a lot of my time and his ink bagging Gould out under the pretense that Gould did not care about the alleged AFL threat . I have no opinion of Phil Gould one way or the other . But having a go at someone for not fighting the great war against AFL in Western Sydney when you have'nt fired a shot yourself is just too much hypocrisy for me.

BUZZ read below

HYPOCRISY
1. a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess.
2. a pretense of having some desirable or publicly approved attitude.

Brakes put on Sharks parking plan

BY JIM GAINSFORD

A PROPOSAL by Cronulla Sharks to use Woolooware High School and Seymour Shaw playing fields as well as Wanda Beach car park for parking on game days has been knocked back by Sutherland Shire Council's traffic committee.
The Sharks consortium has included the game-day parking proposal in its draft development concept for the $300 million redevelopment project.
But mayor Phil Blight said the Sharks developers had failed to consult the council over the proposal to use the council-owned or managed amenities.
Sharks chairman Damian Irvine said the club was suggesting various options for game-day parking to improve the ability for patrons to attend the Sharks' games.
"This is a concept master plan," he said. "There are multiple solutions in the shire if the council are willing to look to improve the problem.
"Woolooware High School continues to be a facility that could accommodate parking.
"If the council and Department of Education which own the land consider the field's usage to be problematic there is still the ability to park in other areas.
"The school would be compensated for this, providing much-needed revenue for other facilities.
"The same would go for Cronulla High School. We are fully aware that the use of Wanda car park requires council's approval. That's why we applied for it.
"The car park requires better lighting at the northern end to which we will be happy to contribute to enable its use.
"When we described the Seymour Shaw area of Miranda as a point for pick up in a Sharks-run shuttle service, we were referring to the RTA land that is used for event parking for the Easter Show and other events."
Cr Blight said the fields managed by council outside school hours at Woolooware High School were used by other sporting codes and there was concern parking on the ovals could cause damage to expensive irrigation systems and the playing surfaces.
"There is also a suggestion parking could be at Wanda Reserve and Wanda Beach area near Mitchell Road and shuttle buses be used between the stadium.
"This has no agreement and council, as owners of these facilities, was not consulted and we can foresee negative impacts for existing homeowners and beachgoers." The traffic committee's recommendation will be discussed at to next week's full council meeting.

Sharks in shallow water

BY BRAD FORREST

THE fade-out by Cronulla Sharks over the past month — bottoming out with the team’s fourth straight loss, 20-16, to the last-placed Gold Coast Titans on Saturday night at Toyota Stadium — has cost the team and club badly.
Along with all hope for any tilt at the NRL finals for the third season in a row, the club faces more than $300,000 in lost gate-takings from their final four home games, compared to what would be derived if the team had maintained its winning march to the NRL finals.
A fifth-straight loss on Monday night — against the Canterbury Bulldogs at Toyota Stadium — could prove costly, with the $300million retail and property development proposal still being finalised.
The Sharks attracted only 6000-odd fans to their two last home night games against the Knights and Titans — either side of embarrassingly big losses to the Dragons and Broncos — resulting in the financially struggling club battling just to cover operating costs on those nights.
The Sharks’ home-game crowd average has now dipped below 12,000 — the lowest in the NRL. Fans who turned up to see their team win four straight last month have turned away in droves at a time when a winning Sharks’ side would be attracting 16,000-18,000 plus crowds.
The Sharks’ last home games are against Canterbury Bulldogs on Monday night before they host the improved Wests Tigers in the final round 26 game.
With the Bulldogs maintaining faint hopes of squeezing into the NRL top eight, and the Tigers going well, crowds should jump above 10,000, but rival supporters could well outnumber Sharks’ fans.
The Sharks improved on their big loss against the Broncos, but were frustrated by a solid Gold Coast defence and an inability to punish the Titans close to their line.
Despite a mammoth effort by captain Paul Gallen, returning from injury, the Sharks’ attack and kicking game fell flat when they had the visitors pinned on the ropes. ‘‘It was very frustrating,’’ said coach Shane Flanagan afterwards. ‘‘I don’t know how many opportunities we had to score and didn’t, whether it was Gal slipping or someone not throwing a pass.’’

Why are we promoting compost? It's only good for creating vegetables and providing a home for worms.
