Because Gould was one of those figures that stood up to super league/Murdoch and news Corp employees during the super league war and rothfield has hated him since

I greatly respect Gould for what he did

Yep siding with packer sure took a lot of guts. Fmd

And the Optus group.

Both of which were funding big paydays for him and Bob Fulton for helping in the 'fight against the evil corporation'.

It's pretty easy to fight against the evil broadcasting company, when some other broadcasting companies (whom aren't evil because reasons...) are paying you hundreds of thousands of dollars to do it.

Nope it's all pretty straight forward: a bunch of f**king hypocrites pretending to be poor battlers fighting against a big evil corporation, in reality were actually just very well payed representatives of other big evil corporations.
And now you've gone too far the other way

Yeah, they all got big pay . The clubs, lawyers, courts etc. and 20 odd years on the game is still paying for it......but, but, but it was like the recession we had to have

Anyone listening to the Rugby League Digest podcast series on the Superleague war? During that time, all the News Corp journalists were obviously pushing the company line either by choice or coercion. The only one who refused and even threatened to resign was... gulp... Buzz Rothfield.

Was that when he was still a Dragons fan?
