Our club gets by on gate so I don't see why you guys are bitching... If anything you should be thanking the newbies so now that you don't have to see the Sharks play 3 games on the CC.

I am "bitching" because I want them to come every week, not just when we are winning. Then there would never even be talk of 3 games on the CC.

I reckon we can get 20000. My only worry is the bloody rah rah final which was threatening to take away up to 10 of my mates from this game. They thought it would be a good night to hit the city.

But I think I've averted that threat and should get them into Shark Park. Saturday night is our best drawing night and the fact we haven't had a game in ages, are winning and playing a well supported club who is in form, suggests 20000+ if the weather stays fine.

In fact I will go out on a limb and predict biggest ever crowd for a match against a club other than Saints. Anyone know what we have to beat to get this record?

1999 we got 20793 vs Canterbury, pretty sure it was a ground record at the time, a few weeks later we played the Stains (22279) and broke it again.

Well we can go close to that. Here's hoping they double the bar staff they had for that Saints game last year.

My only other concern is crowds around Origin time tend to be down a little, I guess through less publicity. But I think this match has many more factors going for it.

I think we'll top 20k, all things being equal. I think Parra fans are travellers within Sydney, especially when the team is travelling OK which they are now.

Expect a record crowd in the club before hand to watch the 'Tahs. I'm not a big fan of kick & clap but I'll be there to watch, has a sort of event thingy going for it.

I haven't seen a 'Tahs game all year, last weekend I had to decide to see Star Wars or S12. I chose Star Wars.
