Gallen was back to his best, Toops, was freaking awesome - he simply does not lose battles. Snowy needs to be called stretch he bent the line so often, Dougy had a bad first good second.
Morris has been great, playing him @ 7 showed that won't work. Starting him @9 and his versitility will prove a great buy. 4 Forwards can be on the bench when you have John, calls for Aiton to start are wrong, Morris to start, Aiton to play 55m.
Smith will be awesome on the left with Toops, Tautai and a fast winger, that side will bloom over the next few months.
Kelly at fullback, will prove to be awesome. Couple of dropped bombs mean nothing, he can catch and will prove this. As they get more time together, Ation, Smith, Barrett and Kelly will direct and break others. In time he will move to 6, a career path similar to Lockyer, perhaps not as good as one the legends of the game, but similar none the less.
Smith signing was awesome, kudos to ricky for getting past the soft arse sponsors. Kid will run the team, get repeat sets, score the odd try, work a fine combo with Kelly, leave Barrett to create and play what he sees.
The Bench is coming on, Vave will prove a great ricky buy, Cuthbo, will get there, Pomm is playing right where he should be.
In conclusion, our pack is one the best, the backs have some pace, our halves stack up against most, the bench is getting there, a good season we have.
