Everybody keeps talking about who NSW should pick in the next game. Isn't that half the problem with NSW? Picking game by game ...

If you had to name 5 players to give the stamp "automatic selection for the next 3-5 years minimum", in order to build a winning side around - and they don't necessarily have to be part of the mythical "spine" - who would you nominate?

Yes there are no halfbacks yet i think there is plenty to choose from in the halves but we have to watch the finals series and see how they perform there,It is the best indicator.

His talk of incumbancy on The Footy Show is all part of that old guard mentality that saw no players blooded during NSW's successful periods with players leading into retirement/ESL.

That and he just isn't that good anymore

Why just 5? NSW has a whole heap of good young players coming through. Selectors need to give them a chance & stick with them.
