Can you believe they are putting out another movie based on Joplin with Renee Zellweger that's going up against the version with Pink, I mean Zellweger :roll:
It's just gotta be a rock chick :!:

Well I dont know if Pink has the acting chops, but she certainly has the vocal pipes for it. Best voice in the world, I'm certain. She certainly did justice to those great Joplin numbers. Her rendition of Piece Of My Heart nearly tore the roof off the joint.

ok, i dont like pink too much, but has anyone else noticed ehr huge transformation she started in pop, then i think briefly tried ot do the logical progression into r&b, adn now is all crazy and rock, even bordering on alternative. it seems the less pink her hair gets the more she changes? is it a gimmick, cos i remmebr seeing her on punkd and bbeing impressde that she wa actually a person adn not an automoton pop robot

I think it's probably because she's pretty young, I know in one of her earlier songs she talks about exec types wanting to make her into a Britney clone. They probably have to 'conform' to start with until they 'make it' I guess, then they can pretty much do what they want as long as the fans are happy.
Alanis went through the same kind of thing I think although she was pretty out there from the start :lol:

she isnt main stream but she isnt not main stream, she gets a lot of air play, and is popular among mainstream audiences, but she attempts to be alternative adn writes her own music. She's average, i dont hate her, but i hate her whiny self involved songs
